Order uniforms online and collect from the uniform shop.
Purpose
Parents/carers through the School Council and P&C have endorsed the school’s uniform policy and its importance in maintaining the identity and good name of Mackellar Girls Campus. This endorsement acknowledges the positive reasons for high expectations regarding school uniform:
- Association with a proud school, its traditions and history of achievement.
- Support for student belonging
- Utility, comfort and suitability for all learning activities
- Maintenance of high community standards and a caring school community.
- Reinforcement of an egalitarian approach that values inclusion
- Preparation of young people for work circumstances that require dress codes and high standards
- Acknowledgement that comfort, dignity, practicality and safety are satisfied when working together
Mackellar Girls Campus school uniforms can only be purchased from our uniform shop. The uniform shop is located in the Administration building (A Block), accessible via Campbell Parade. Uniforms can be ordered online or in person.
Out of Uniform Procedure
If there are exceptional circumstances that do not allow a student to wear full school uniform, parents should send an explanatory email to the school before the start of the school day. The email should indicate the reason for variation and when the student is expected to be back in uniform.
The student must report to the Deputy Principal's office on arrival where they will be issued with a Uniform Pass and, where possible, with a short-term loan of replacement uniform. We thank parents/carers for supporting the high standards.
